St-Philipe’s Anglican Church and micro-museum
St-Philip’s Anglican Church has preserved its early-century style much as when it was built in 1912. For the past few years, its micro-museum has been recounting the community history, particularly in relation to the Colborne shipwreck. One of the wreck’s survivors, Joseph Jones Acteson, and his descendants now lay in the adjacent cemetery. St Philip’s Anglican Church opens in the summer only, Monday to Friday, from 9 to 4.
